FlowMaster's interface is simple enough to make it the easiest model you have ever used, yet so powerful that you will be solving multiple uniform flow problems simultaneously in minutes. Eliminate the need for cumbersome spreadsheets and homegrown programs and replace them with the time-saving FlowMaster.

FlowMaster is built around the concept of worksheets—element specific calculators that allow you to solve for any relevant variable by adjusting the various input parameters. Create an unlimited number of worksheets within the same file to easily document design trials or to analyze and design multiple parts of a project.

Using FlowMaster's comprehensive reporting capabilities, you can quickly create summary reports or complete records of your analysis and design. Build customized tabular reports, graphs, cross-sectional plots, performance curves, and rating tables to support smarter decision-making.

Open Channel Analysis
Design and analyze ditches and swales regardless of size and shape using either uniform or gradually varied flow computations. Under uniform flow, solve for discharge, normal depth, channel dimensions, slope, or roughness, and compare the results using different friction methods.


Other Free Surface Flow Elements
Analyze circular, box, elliptical, and closed irregular channels using uniform flow or gradually varied flow computations.

Pressure Pipe Design
Perform a quick check or design by plugging in the known information and automatically solving for length, start and stop elevation or pressure, discharge, diameter, or roughness.

Powerful Inlet and Gutter Computations
Design and analyze grate, curb, ditch, slotted, and combination inlets using calculations based on the FHWA Hydraulic Engineering Circular No. 12 and Circular No. 22 methodologies. You can consider in sag or on grade conditions with a continuously or locally depressed gutter and calculate water spread and gutter depth for a gutter or pavement section.

Weir and Orifice Sizing
Size and evaluate flow for rectangular, V-notch, Cipolletti, broad crested, and custom weirs or circular, rectangular, and custom orifices. Using the tailwater elevation parameter, you can accurately account for submergence.
