KEY FEATURES

v13_gird.gif (26123 bytes)LUSAS Bridge is used by thousands of bridge engineers worldwide to analyse all types of bridge structures.

  • For new designs or for assessment of existing bridges LUSAS Bridge provides you with a complete solution
  • It is the prime choice for organisations wanting to increase their efficiency by standardising on a single product for all their analysis needs.

The clear leader for bridge analysis, design and assessment

  • The Windows User Interface, modelling wizards, comprehensive vehicle loading facilities, Vehicle Load Optimisation, and Smart Combinations provide for easy and rapid model generation, load application, and generation of results.
  • Grillage and slab structures are handled with ease and additional features cater for more advanced 3D modelling.
  • The unrivalled range of analysis facilities, including seismic, dynamic, prestress, nonlinear, and fatigue make LUSAS Bridge the clear leader for bridge analysis, design and assessment.

Viewing results

Graphing

The graph wizard provides step by step means of selecting which results are to be plotted. Numerical data used to create the graph is displayed in a grid style alongside the graph.

Animations

Animation of results - which are particularly useful for animating mode shapes and investigating the spread of yielded material - can be created and saved in AVI file format for display in other Windows application

Slab Design

The RC slab/wall design facility calculates the reinforcement requirements for slabs or panels. Contours of steel area, or bar diameter and spacing can be plotted to help with the detailing process
